sorry for the big gap in posts but I've just moved house across countries so its been really busy in my house for a while. anyways, the latest news is that I am getting through all the emails so if you are waiting for an email, it will be there soon... and i've started work on a new release for both versions - Layouts and Cards that will be out in the few few months...!!
and to add something new, I am having an open call for some new faces to join my team of wonderful artists.
so if you would like to be part of the next release, here's what you need to know and do:
Sketches2Scrapbook CARDS:
to be part of the team, all you need to email me the direct links to your favourite two cards on your blog by the 5th of April (next Tuesday) with the subject line "Sketches2Scrapbook CARDS - new team".
We are asking for everyone selected to produce 3 cards (ie you'll be sent 3 sketches) on a certain theme by the 20th of April 2011 which is 2 weeks after the closing date.
All we need for the App is a high quality PHOTOGRAPH of your artwork (and a supply list) so you are not shipping or mailing your card anywhere. Below is the standard my Development team are looking for both is level of detail and staging of card for photographing.
Be aware that the deadline is Wednesday 20th of April (2 weeks Creating time) - this is important as there is no extension available and so if you are not able to produce the cards by then, we will not be able to include them in the App release.

So we hope you will think of this as a unique opportunity to be part of something cool - we look forward to seeing your artwork. You can apply for both teams but please be aware that we can only have a certain number on each team so places are very limited.
In exchange for use of your artworks, we will send you a code for the App once it is released for sale. If you do not have an Apple Product (iPhone, iPad or itouch) you can give the code to a friend or give it away on your blog.

Such a pity I can't scrapbook for the next two months (due to surgery) as I would of loved to have given this a go.

Too bad I didn't find this earlier! I would have loved to apply but am leaving on holidays right away. I will definately be checking out the app though! :D

To get me out of here now back to the UK (or anywhere in Europe) for anything other than a business or other short visit, you would have to find earth moving equipment
